About Us
Come join us for ESL on Wednesday evenings downstairs at 7:00 PM!
We start with a get-to-know-you game to help people feel comfortable and start interacting.
The lesson lasts about 15 minutes and we try to differentiate or vary it to different levels of difficulty based on those in attendance.
We follow school semesters for weeks that we meet.
We accept all languages:
- Languages of people that have attended in the past are:
Arabic, Spanish, various African dialects, Russian and Ukrainian.
Teaching Points
During our classes, we cover basic topics, tasks, and skills to diversify the communication skills and grammar needs of our students.
We seek to support our students by coming alongside them to establish relationships as we help them learn the English they desire.
What You Can Expect
The class size varies from week to week sometimes hosting 30 individuals and other weeks we truly have the opportunity with smaller class sizes to allow for individualized specific instruction to meet the students where they are.
There are lots of people who become friends because they are in similar life situations and/or become friends with the teachers through the class.
Wednesday Evenings
We have classes on Wednesday evenings downstairs from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM during the school year from mid August to mid December and from mid January to mid May.
